First Grade iPad Distribution - 2022

This school year, your student will be receiving a District-issued iPad. Distribution will be during First Grade Open House on August 18, 2022, or on the first day of school if the family cannot attend the Open House. First graders will keep the iPad distributed to them this year through the end of their fourth-grade year. At the start of the fifth grade, your student will be assigned a new iPad.

Below is important information relating to guidelines, insurance, and distribution procedures that require your attention prior to your student receiving their iPad for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have more than one student receiving an iPad, you will need to complete each of the three steps separately for each student. 

• The required Device User Agreement must be signed by both a parent/guardian and the student and returned to school.
• Information and directions related to the recommended iPad device protection program.
• The North Allegheny School District Responsible Use Policy for Students, which students are required to sign at the start of the school year per the NASD Code of Conduct.
