North Allegheny School District is Smoke-Free
The North Allegheny School District Board of School Directors passed Policies #222, #323, #423, and #523, which include cigarettes and smokeless nicotine delivery products, declaring all District-owned property, facilities, buses, and athletic fields, to be “no smoking/no tobacco zones.” These policies apply to all persons, including students, employees, officers, volunteers, visitors, etc. The use of tobacco products is also prohibited at the Carl E. Newman Stadium and the surrounding complex at all times. These policies are in line with the Pennsylvania Legislature’s Pro-Children’s Act of 1994 and Act 128 of 2000.
