DINING ADVISORY COMMITTEE (DAC)

DESCRIPTION

The District is responsible for the formation and establishment of an advisory board composed of students, teachers, and parents meeting periodically to assist in menu planning, nutrition education and promotion, and other activities related to food service.

The Parent Dining Advisory Committee shall:

• Provide two-way communications between parents and the board, administration, and the food services contractor for the benefit of the school community.
• Inform the board, administration, and the food services contractor of the views of parents on matters related to dining services.
• Provide information, opinions, and recommendations which would be helpful to the board, administration, and the food services contractor.
• Enable the board, administration, and food services contractor to draw upon the resources of the community in studying issues and making decisions related to dining services.

2023-2024 MEETING DATES & TIMES

All meetings will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (Locations TBA)
