The Facilities Maintenance Department is comprised of 13 maintenance employees and 5 utility maintenance employees.
We receive approximately 8,000 work orders per year. All work orders are prioritized by safety, emergency, demand, routine, preventative and project work. We attempt to maintain a work order backlog of less than 300.
THE DEPARTMENT UTILIZES CONTRACTORS FOR:
- Boiler and burner preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Chiller and other cooling equipment preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Elevator and dumb waiter preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Energy management systems preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Fire alarm preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Snow plowing and salting.
- Sprinkler systems preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Projects in excess of $10,000.
