Mr. Kermit Houser currently serves as the Director of Finance/Treasurer at North Allegheny School District, overseeing the Business and Payroll offices. A North Allegheny Alumni, he graduated from Penn State's Smeal College of Business with an Accounting degree. His career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked for a decade. Following that, he spent five years in accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis at a global energy company and later became a Director at a Global Consulting firm.

In 2017, Mr. Houser transitioned to North Allegheny as the Assistant Director of Finance, driven by a desire to be more involved in the community and the district where he lives and raises his family. With three children attending North Allegheny Schools, his commitment extends beyond professional duties to a personal investment in the district's success.
