    During the 2023-2024 school year, Elementary Conference Days are scheduled for the following dates and times:

    • Monday, November 6, 2023—NOON-7:45 PM
    • Tuesday, November 7, 2023—8:00 AM-3:45 PM 

    ABOUT NORTH ALLEGHENY ELEMENTARY PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

    Open and continuous communication between parents and teachers has proven to be vital to the success of students in the classroom. It is important for both parents/guardians and school personnel to continue to communicate regularly with regards to student success in school. While report cards offer one means of communication, the ability to meet face-to-face and collaborate on a child’s progress is invaluable. On scheduled parent/teacher conference days, we invite parents/guardians to take part in our annual fall conferences in order to benefit from a conversation about their child’s progress.

    Throughout the year, you should always feel comfortable in contacting your child’s teacher to discuss academic progress or any other concerning issues. While you are encouraged to attend the fall conferences, these two days are by no means the only days that are available to you for discussion. You can schedule a conference with school staff at any time throughout the course of the school year.

    Registration for North Allegheny Elementary School parent-teacher conferences for students in grades 1-5 on Monday, November 6, or Tuesday, November 7 is now available.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

    • When scheduling your appointment, you will first choose an in-person meeting or a virtual meeting.
    • You will need to select your child’s homeroom teacher from the pulldown menu and then select a time for the conference.
    • After selecting a time and booking the appointment you will receive a confirmation email.
    • Parents/guardians will need to complete this process for each elementary student in your family. 

     

    Registration will close at midnight on October 22, 2023. Parent-teacher conferences are optional. These are Professional Development Days and there are no classes for students.

    As you navigate the parent-teacher conference sign-up, if you have any questions, please contact your student’s homeroom teacher or refer to the instructions below. 

    HOW TO BOOK AN ELEMENTARY CONFERENCE

    Elementary Conference Days will be scheduled using the Microsoft Bookings tool. Parents of students in grades 1-5 will receive an email with a link to the Bookings site for building their child attends.  Kindergarten parents will receive an email with a link to the Bookings page for their child's teacher.  

    To schedule an appointment, first select if you would like an In-Person or Virtual appointment.


    Choose the name of your child's homeroom teacher from the list of select staff pulldown menu.  If your child has a team of teachers, the homeroom teacher will share information with parents from the entire team. 

     


    After selecting the teacher with whom you will meet, choose the date of the elementary conference (e.g., November 6 or 7) and select a time from a list of available appointment slots. Note: only available appointments will be displayed for the selected staff member.


    After selecting a time and date for your conference, enter your name, your email address, the full name of your child, and indicate if you need a translator for the meeting.  If you do need a translator, please specify the language. Once you have completed the required and any optional questions, click on the BOOK button. 


    You will next see a confirmation page with your appointment details. You will also receive a confirmation email with the appointment details and a calendar invite. The time you selected will be scheduled with the teacher and the teacher will receive a confirmation email with the details of your appointment.  If the teacher has any follow-up questions regarding your appointment, they will contact you directly.
