- Complete the 2023-2024 NASH Parking Registration Form (sent via email on July 10)

- Bring a check for $100 made out to North Allegheny School District
- Pick up a parking permit immediately after the Safe Driving Presentation
2023-2024 Student Driving Guidelines
The 2023-2024 Student Driving Guidelines have been revised and updated. All students and their parents/guardians must read the guidelines prior to completing an online application. There will be a verification check box on the application form that students have read the driving guidelines with their parents/guardians and that they will comply with the expectations.
Complete the Parking Registration Form
On Monday, July 10 at 8 a.m., all NASH students will receive an email to their NA student email account containing a link to the student driving application form. Students who do not have a driver’s license will be able to complete the application as soon as they earn their license.
All applications must be completed using the online form. Parents/guardians should accompany their student when completing the application.
Safe Driving Presentations & Parking Permit Distribution
All students applying to receive a parking permit will be required to attend one of three safe driving presentations held in the NASH auditorium. Presentations will be led by Mr. Salopek (assistant principal), Officer Yeaney (NASH school resource officer), the McCandless Police Department, and other NASH administrators and staff.
Parking permits will be distributed to students only after attending one of the three parking presentations. Permits are $100 and can be paid by check only, made out to North Allegheny School District. If a student does not attend one of the meetings, they will not be able to purchase a parking permit for the 2023-2024 school year. The dates and times of the presentations and permit pickup are below. You must attend one of the presentations!
*Students are only required to attend one of the three presentations. The same message will be shared at each safe driving presentation.
Parking Permit Availability
Parking permits will be sold until the NASH student parking lots are full. Permits are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis - no exceptions. A limited designated number of spaces are available for daily parking passes for those students who need to drive to school for emergency/as-needed situations. Remember - driving to NASH is a privilege.
Students Without a Driver’s License
Students who anticipate receiving their driver’s license after the beginning of the year may apply for a permit at that time if spots remain only after passing their driver’s exam. Students are not permitted to sign up for a parking permit unless they have their driver’s license. A junior driver’s permit is not acceptable to drive to NASH. Safe Driving Presentations will be made available to students who earn their driver’s license during the school year.
