Kids For Wish Kids Club
Welcome to the Kids For Wish Kids Club!
The purpose of this club is to support our local Make-A-Wish. This club works to raise $4400 per year to grant the wish of a child with a critical illness. Students learn how to advertise, fundraise, manage funds, and work together to create events that will raise awareness in the school and the greater community.
Who can join this club?
The Kids For Wish Kids Club is open to all students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Students may join the club at any time. To join, students must complete a registration form, available from Señor Mascari in room 144.
When does the club meet?
The club typically meets twice a month on Fridays in Señor Mascari's room (144) - either during activity period or after school. Students should listen to the announcements and check Blackboard for specific meeting dates and times.
How has this club made a difference?
The Kids For Wish Kids Club began in the 2015-2016 school year and was able to raise $4000 for Make-A-Wish. The students raised money for Giana, whose wish was to go to Disney World. Since then, the club has raised money to grant the wish of Marli, who wished to go to Disney, Kylan, who wished to go on a cruise, and Michael, who wished to go to Hawaii. The club is currently working to grant the wish of Alyssa, who wishes to go to Disney. These wishes are made possible due to the generosity of the Marshall Middle School community.
How can I donate?
Donations can be sent to MMS or through our school fundraisers. You can also donate through the online giving page. Thank you for making wishes come true!
