"We're from McKnight, and we're feeling alright!" This year (2019-2020) marks my thirteenth year as an educator with the North Allegheny School District.  I hold a B.S. in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh Main Campus, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from University of Pittsburgh.  Aside from teaching fifth grade for ten years, I have taught fourth grade, kindergarten, and 6th grade (Ingomar Middle) English/reading. Above all, Fifth grade has become my home, and I absolutely LOVE being a fifth grade teacher and watching my students grow and succeed!

All gains are not possible without consistent, positive home-school communication.  It is important that we work as a team to encourage your child to approach learning and social relationships positively and successfully.  When we work as a TEAM, great things can and will happen.

I also team on with Mrs. Wiesemann (5C) on Thursdays for "Guided Reading."
