8th Grade U.S. History
Connor McClain graduated from North Allegheny in 2010, and went on to Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Studying anthropology and archaeology, he specialized in prehistoric North American archaeology, with a focus on prehistoric tool technology. After graduating from IUP in 2014, he spent time participating in archaeological surveys around Southwest Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. He eventually decided to continue his passion for learning and education and went on to pursue a Master’s degree in social studies education from Slippery Rock University, and graduated in the spring of 2016. Since graduating with a Master’s of Education, he has participated in more archaeological work and served as a substitute teacher in NASD. He is currently teaching 8th grade U.S. History 1783-1890 at MMS, and 10th grade World Cultures at NAI.
