I am honored to be serving the North Allegheny community in the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my sixth year at Peebles Elementary, and am looking forward to another exciting, fun-filled, and action-packed year together.
Prior to joining the staff at Peebles I was a long term substitute counselor for Pine-Richland High School during the 2013-2014 school year. In the spring of 2013 I was a long term substitute at Jefferson Middle School within the Mt. Lebanon School district. During my educational training I completed my internship experiences at both Pine-Richland Middle School, and The Propel Charter School located in Homestead.
I have always had a passion for helping children and families. Before becoming a school counselor I worked for Wesley Spectrum Services, a non-profit mental health organization. I worked specifically within their autism services department and provided individual, group, and referral service and coordination assistance to children and families for three years.
I am a native to the Pittsburgh area, and love everything about the city including our sports teams, diverse communities, and local businesses! I grew up within the North Hills and know first hand the supportive, cohesive, and wonderful community North Allegheny is for all that live within it. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and lovable dog -Tinkerbell.
