The PA Department of Education requires North Allegheny School District to adopt a Special Education Plan. The term of the Special Education Plan is July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029. The plan is currently under review and is available for public comment for 28 days as required under 22 PA Code § 4.13 (d) prior to the Board of School Directors' approval on April 15, 2026 and submission to the Department of Education (Bureau of Special Education).
