Substitute teaching provides a flexible schedule for all employees and an ever-changing work environment, allowing one to learn and experience new things every day. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, educated, dependable, certified by the PA Department of Education, and enjoy working and communicating well with others.
Northern Area Substitute Services (NASS) provides substitute teachers to North Allegheny School District.
Being a substitute teacher plays such an important role in our school districts! Substituting also provides a flexible schedule and an ever-changing work environment. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, enjoy working and communicating well with others and have a Pennsylvania Department of Education Teaching Certificate*.
*Placeholder letters for pending certificates from a college/university are accepted until the Instructional I certificate is received.Please be sure to complete an application before or upon arrival. We are looking forward to meeting you and hopefully making you a part of our districts!
Northern Area Substitute Services allows PA-certified teachers to complete one application to be considered for employment with North Allegheny School District. (Eligible applicants must be hired by each school district separately. Northern Area Substitute Services is not an employing entity.)
