The Baierl Big Shots Basketball Camp is a youth development program hosted at the Baierl Family YMCA, focused on building foundational basketball skills. The camp is specifically tailored for young athletes ages 7 to 10 of all skill levels, offering a blend of elite instruction and high-energy fun to help kids build confidence and learn from the pros.

Two summer sessions are available, both running from 4:45–6:45 PM. Session 1 takes place from July 13–16, and Session 2 runs from August 3–6. Registration is required to secure a child's spot, with pricing set at $70.00 for YMCA members and $100.00 for non-members.

A fundraiser is currently underway for North Allegheny Lanyards, with all proceeds benefiting the North Allegheny Baseball Boosters. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the nation’s only vintage street race and the largest vintage race event, and it happens right here in our hometown! The motorsport’s famous Schenley Park Race Weekend in Oakland is on July 18–19, 2026. The charity event is volunteer-driven, with over 1,000 individuals needed to stage it. The event raises funds to help provide residential care, treatment, and support for autistic and intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals in the Pittsburgh region. A free 2026 Pittsburgh Summer Camp is available for students in grades 4–8 to learn computer programming and prepare for a future in STEM. Hosted by Steel City Codes, this beginner-friendly online camp allows participants to build projects using Python and Java at no cost. Robert Morris University is hosting two sessions of its Men’s Basketball Day Camp for boys entering grades 2–9 The first session is scheduled for June 22–25, and the second session will take place July 20–23. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a basketball. Campers who register for both sessions can apply the discount code "BOTHCAMPS" to receive a $100 discount on the second day camp. Registration is open to any entrants within the specified grade levels and can be completed through the Robert Morris Men's Basketball Camp registration portal.

AFS-USA Intercultural Programs is inviting families to join their global network by hosting one of over 1,000 international exchange students who arrive in the U.S. annually from 80 different countries. Prospective host families have the flexibility to welcome a student for durations ranging from a few weeks to a full academic year.
