The kids will complete phonemic awareness practice, practice the ow sound, read a story called Owls on the Prowl, practice their high-frequency words, and review verbs.     3. For social studies today, students should log onto Tiger ID, choose the "Ed" button (look for the gray background with the word Ed in yellow), and then click "assignments." The words "Living Culture" should pop up. The kids only need to read the page focusing on this topic. If the magazine does not show up, it may be because the Pop Up Blocker is on.     Our Google Meet is tonight at 7 pm! Remember to use Google Classroom to access the link. If you would like to test to make sure it is working, just email me and we can set this up! Here are some other tips from our technology integrator:

    1) Reinstall Google Classroom on the day of the meeting

    2) Install Google Meet- although the kids can access the link through Google Classroom, installing Meet will allow for a better connection. This should also be updated on the day of the meeting.

    3) Hard restart the iPad- this involves holding down the home button and the power button at the same time until the iPad turns off and back on again. When the apple logo appears on the screen you can let go.

    3. For science today the kids will watch a Mystery Doug video on a Nearpod. The code is DNKFZ. It is all about how Pluto is no longer considered a major planet.     Today is Tuesday, June 2nd. We will focus on ELA and social studies today.

    Today is Friday, May 29th. We will focus on math and science today.

    2 Complete the math Nearpod. The code is PBQHG. In this Nearpod, the students will complete the first lesson in chapter eleven, which is all about 3D shapes. There is a video where I introduce the shapes, and this video is optional. The kids will complete their workbook pages on the Nearpod. There is also an optional interactive edition included, and the students only need to complete the first three dots. There is an optional activity on Seesaw too.     3. For science, students should log onto Epic to read the story Seasons of the Freshwater Pond Biome. It should be in their mailbox, however if not you can use the search feature by typing the title into the search bar.
