• Registration for the 2020 Kids of STEEL Program, the Sheetz Toddler Trot, the Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh Kids Marathon, and the UPMC Health Plan/UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K Run are now under way!!!

    The events are set to take place on Saturday, May 2nd.
     
    Below are brief explanations of the programs/events you can sign up for. Use the dropdown options on the left side to read more about each.

    • Kids of STEEL (no race): This program is for those are cannot particpate on the May 2nd race day. It is FREE OF COST.  Here is the direct link for the Kids of STEEL program only... http://bit.ly/noraceKOS. If you would like to sign up for the Kids of STEEL program and run a race, you will need to also sign up for the race.
    • Sheetz Toddler Trot: Children complete a "marathon" of locomotor skills and taste 26 different fruits or vegetables in the months leading up to the race. They then get to run the Toddler Trot with their parent/guardian. There is a $10.00 per child registration fee for the Toddler Trot. One adult runs for FREE.
    • Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh Kids Marathon: Children run and log 25 miles in the months leading up to the race. They then get to run their final 1.2 miles at the Kids Marathon with their friends and family. There is a $20.00 per child registration fee for the Kids Marathon. One adult runs for FREE, any additional adult participant is $10.00 each.
    • UPMC Health Plan/UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K Run: Children can run a 5K (3.1 miles) with all of the other participants. The cost is $40.00. Remember that all children under the age of 13 must have an adult accompany them on the course.
