Room: 106 (KB, KE)
Welcome to kindergarten! I am so excited to be teaching at North Allegheny, and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year.
Here is a little more information about me...
I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Affairs and Conflict Analysis and Resolution. After graduation, I lived in Brazil for a year. While in Brazil, I taught English to students ranging from 7 to 50+ years in age. After Brazil, I was a teacher aide in an adult life skills classroom at The Children's Institute for two and a half years. While working as a teacher aide, I attended Carlow University and graduated with my Master's in Early Childhood Education. Most recently, during the 2017-2018 school year, I taught both kindergarten and second grade at Fox Chapel Area School District.
It's going to be a great year, and I can't wait to get to know the McKnight kinders and their families!
