About Me

  • Hello!

Welcome to my Teacher Profile for the 2020-2021 school year at Marshall Middle School!  This year I am teaching both ELA 8 and English 7, and this is my first official year as a contracted teacher in the NA school district.  I have had the pleasure of being a long-term substitute teacher at NAI, CMS, and MMS over the past two years, and I am so thrilled to officially be a Tiger at NA!  Though this year will not look the same as previous ones, I am confident that it will still be a wonderful experience for all students, staff, and members of the NA community.  There's no place I'd rather be than part of this Tiger family!

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and I graduated from Mars Area High School before attending the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!) for college.  In May of 2017, I graduated with a B.S.E. in Secondary Education and a B.A. in English.  Previously I completed my student teaching in Englewood, OH, and I've worked as a long-term substitute teacher at both Neshannock Jr./Sr. High School in New Castle, PA and North Allegheny School District.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, comments, or concerns.  Let's have the best school year yet!
