North Allegheny School District is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County. It is located approximately twelve miles north of Pittsburgh and serves the municipalities of Bradford Woods Borough, Franklin Park Borough, Marshall Township and the Town of McCandless – a total of 48 square miles. In 2012-13, the total enrollment of the District is 8,212 students. The District is also one of the largest employers in the northern suburbs, bringing together more than 1,027 talented and dedicated individuals to achieve its mission of serving students every day.
