Reading is Magic:

Reading is essential. Everything we do in life can be made better by reading. Whether assembling a bicycle, understanding directions to a game or passing a test, reading and comprehension are necessary. When reading for pleasure or studying for school, this simple act enriches the life of the reader in countless ways. Yet, no one can make a student read.  What we can do, however, is instill in the student the desire and motivation to read! We can encourage the student to read!

READING IS MAGIC is a program that does just that! A program designed to entice children to read: to make them want to read. Through comedy, magic and audience participation, our professional presenter demonstrates that reading is fun and interesting. With a unique insight into the minds of today's children, he shows how reading can be entertaining and informative. (No script available)

My Lunch Table: Covers motivation, challenges, reward problem solving & imagination

As a result of a colossal food fight, started by Big Mac and his lima bean, three students are assigned to the same lunch table for an entire month.  Although these students excel in different areas their time spent together at the lunch table help them connect in unexpected ways – especially through their anxieties about an impending science presentation! They learn that each of us have strengths and weaknesses even though it may not seem so at first.  And they learn that everybody has a talent or skill to offer, that we can all learn from each other, and that working together can bring about amazing results.
