Using the wonderful children's book, A Turkey for Thanksgiving by Eve Bunting, the second grade Title I students practiced a script to bring this tale to our kindergarten classes.  Readers Theater calls for performers to read the script as they perform.  Such a performance increases fluency, expression and is just great fun!  Both morning and afternoon kindergarten students appeared to enjoy the show with cries of "Encore!  Encore!" heard.
