Peter Wei Cai Memorial Scholarship

Peter Wei Cai, a junior of Harvard University, collapsed and passed away after finishing the race along Charles River on October 25, 2008. He was 20 years old.

A native of Pittsburgh and alumnus of North Allegheny School District, Peter Cai volunteered in many community services through Philips Brooks House Association (PBHA), which is a student-run, nonprofit public service organization at Harvard University. Peter was the co-director and instructor of Harvard Emergency Medical Services (HEMA), an instructor for Chinatown English as Secondary Language Program, and co-director of Alternative Spring Break in New Orleans.

Peter has been planning a fund raising to cover the costs of students or community persons wanting to participate in the Emergency Medical Training course provided by the Harvard Emergency Medical Services program who are unable to afford the $1,000 cost.

Now a Scholarship Fund in Peter's name is being established at the Phillips Brooks House Association at Harvard University for the exact goal that Peter wished.

The Class of 1968:

It is hard to believe that it has been forty (40) years! Come and reminisce with your fellow classmates in a fifties themed event commemorating the last reunion of our 50’s. We have scheduled events that will provide lots of opportunities to get together and socialize with each other. We are encouraging dressing fifties style to lend to the mood and for the contest at the Saturday Gala. Your favorite 50/60’s music, dining, dancing and pictures will be featured. A memory book and music CD will be available for purchase and you'll receive them after the reunion. Come and have a great time with your classmates. See you there!
