Work with a group of friends or work alone and design a
gingerbread house. Be creative! Registration due
on October 30. This is a service project sponsored
by PPG – proceeds to benefit Children’s Hospital.

Dec. 1 Science Essay Contest -
Do you like to write? Do you know something about
Science? You could win up to $1000 in savings bonds
by participating in The Society for Analytical
Chemists of Pittsburgh’s science essay contest. See
Mrs. Montgomery in the GOAL office for more
details. The deadline for submitting the essay
is December 1, 2009!
Dec. 2 Dr. Sam Rhine -- The Genetics Update
Conference on December 2
A nationally recognized geneticist, Dr. Rhine will
speak on the following topics: genetic review,
comparative geonomics, gene therapy, multifactorial
trait update and human stem cells and their
