Mr. Rogers Sweater Drive
Every November the NAI Key Club conducts a gently used sweater drive in coordination with the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum. The sweaters are sorted by size and type and then distributed to area shelters and churches to be given to individuals and families who are in need of warm clothing for the winter. We are happy to say this was a record breaking year for our Key Club. We collected from our families and neighbors 657 adult and children sweaters. The Children Museum was thrilled that it brought their total to 1,500 sweaters that were collected for the people of Pittsburgh that need the gift of warmth this year. |
