Friday, November 20
Congratulations to Mr. Anticole’s homeroom which brought in 588 cans yesterday! They won smiley face cookies to munch on. Also, congratulations to Allison Zeppuhar, who won the drawing for an I-Tunes gift card from the highest contributors from each homeroom. Our total so far is 12,382. Today is the last for the canned food drive. The truck is coming to be loaded. Let’s make this last day the best day of the drive! The North Hills food bank desperately depends on us to help stock their shelves!
The Publicity committee meeting for today is postponed until Monday after school in the SAO.
A reminder to all Chain Reaction Contraption participants: your media release form is due in the GOAL office now! Your team will lose 10 points if not received by Tues 11/24.
The JV Hockey team remains undefeated after beating Mars last night 3 to 2. The teams record is 6 and 0. Scoring for the Tigers were Vincent Lomupo, John Mammay and Cody Black.

Then stop by the after school tutoring/homework program. Join us after school in the cafeteria from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, and it will run every Tuesday and Thursday until May. It is open to all students looking for help in their main subjects. Tutoring is provided by the National Junior Honor Society members. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kiggins in the counseling office.

Yesterday we collected 1, 244 cans from homerooms. Congratulations to Kendall Holland. Her name was drawn from a pool of the top contributors from each homeroom. She won an I-Tunes gift card. Mrs. Then’s class gave the most, so they will enjoy Smiley Face cookies! It is time to dethrone Mr. Anticole’s class, so bring in your cans! Most importantly, NAI’s contribution enriches the North Hills Food Bank, feeding those who find it difficult to put food on the table.

Yesterday, our intrepid Student Council Service committee and friends collected, delivered and counted 3,077 cans from our neighborhoods to kick off the canned food drive this week at our school. Your class council reps will record each and every can you bring in to add to our collection. Fabulous prizes will be awarded. An incentive sheet should be posted in your homeroom. Don’t miss your chance to qualify for I-Tune gift cards, a pass for a movie before winter break or a raffle ticket for a terrible towel signed by 6 Steelers and more! Please bring the cans from your homeroom plus your class envelope to the Main Office at this time!
