On March 7, the student councils from NASH, NAI, and all three middle schools got together in a joint effort to make bracelets for an organization called Harm’s Way for Kids.  Joined by many students from throughout the district, we were successful in making thousands of bracelets to be sent to troops stationed overseas.  The bracelets are worn or carried as a reminder that those at home have not forgotten about our heroes who fight for our freedom.  The bracelets also go to those who have family members serving as a thank you for the sacrifices that military families make for our freedom.  The afternoon was a great bonding experience, with presentations, contests, and lots of great food donated from local businesses.  More information can be found at http://www.harmsway4kids.com/
