JA JOB SHADOW DAY 2007

     Do you have a burning interest in engineering but have always wondered which specific area on which to focus?  Sign up now to explore possible careers in engineering!  On February 2nd, the GOAL Department will be traveling to Pittsburgh Paint Glass Coatings and Resins Research in Allison Park.  Students will take a facility tour and hear 7 to 8 different speakers, chemists, engineers speak/ present/ demo about their schooling, career, etc.

    Permission slips available now.  Space is limited!

   

 Do you believe that your voice doesn’t count?  Well, here is a chance to express your opinions on a Student Voices website that is interactive.  The Student Voices Project provides information on issues that are of most concern to students and their communities.  The Student Voices Project encourages the civic engagement of young people by bringing  a forum to discuss policy issues on line.  Finally, students communicate their concerns to the general public by making their voices heard in the media.
