Attention 5th Graders! 

The MES Holiday Shop is in need of some helpful Elves to assist our younger shoppers with their holiday selections.  The Holiday Shop is scheduled for Friday, December 11 this year from 3:30pm-6:30pm. 

 If you are interested in volunteering one hour of your time to help your younger classmates, please look for the Elf permission form in your November 19th Thursday envelope! 

PFA Meeting Friday 11/13/09

There is a PFA Meeting tomorrow, Friday, November 13 at 9:15am in the LGI.

Officer Kim Boucek from the Franklin Park Police Department will be speaking about Internet safety and children at the PFA meeting tomorrow.  If you have not heard Office Boucek speak before, she is a dynamic and informative speaker who brings some great ideas to the table for parents.  Refreshments will be provided and children are welcome.

Stuffed Animal Drive

The Health & Wellness Committee is sponsoring a Stuffed Animal Drive next week through November 20th in the spirit of Thanksgiving and the desire to "Give Back" to the community.  Bins will be set up in the hallway for collection of any gently used items you wish to donate.  The items will be taken to local charities sponsoring children in need in our local community.  We thank you in advance for your generosity.   Many Thanks, Health & Wellness Committee
