Reading-4th Grade

  1. To use some of the free demo components of  Study Island  have your students click on one of the topics below. After they do this, they will see a page that has the map of the United States. They must click on the state listed.
     
  2. On the right side of the computer screen find and click on the link  that says parents and students underneath the TRY US OUT  title. 
     
  3. After they click on this it will take them to a screen where it gives them a number of different grade levels.  Have the student find your grade level.
     
  4. Have your students go to View Demo option and click on it.
     
  5. This t will put them on a page that says reading, math or possibly some other subjects. Have them click on the subject you want them to go to based on the subject heading  on this page (ex. Reading). 
     
  6. Next it will come to a page  of the lessons.  The FREE DEMO lesson will be in red.  Click on the title.
     
  7. Last it will put them on a page which will give them the option of what session type to use and the number of questions to try.   You can have them use test mode where the only thing they can do is read the question and choose an answer.  The other option you have is game mode which gives the children the ability to answer the question by competing in a game.
