Art & Curriculum Show

Visitor's to McKnight's Art/Curriculum Show on  March 24 enjoyed the   many styles of art related to this year's rain forest theme.  The many ways to depict  jungle creatures  from a pond of frogs to a gathering of colorful parrots  was the theme  for a variety of student art projects.  McKnight families explored the Gallery Walk, located in the gym. to see the weaving, ceramic, painting, and needlework creations of  proud students.  Special thanks to the hard work of the art teachers Mrs. Devine, Mrs. Townsend, and Mrs. Cech, as well as a dedicated group of  parent  volunteers who  assisted in displaying  many of the terrific projects. Every corner of the school also featured student art work, curriculum projects, and learning samples from all grade levels.    In the Cafeteria there were delicious refreshments from the PFA .   See some scenes from the evening below.
