Library Resources  + PA Standards + Teacher Collaboration= Academic achievement

Last spring, McKnight  Elementary  was excited to learn that our application for a $5,000 LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act)  Collection Development Grant was successful. The letter  from Commonwealth Libraries   announcing the grant was just the first step to providing McKnight Students and Staff  with fabulous new books to support the achievement of Pennsylvania Academic Standards in  Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening especially   1.2 Reading Critically in all Content Areas.

Staff and students enjoyed  our LSTA Preview day !!  How exciting to see so many New and Current titles to support student learning !
