2007 – 2008 School Year

Pool Memberships: (Sept. 10^th through June 26^th)

Ø             Individual Membership                 $  75.00 (for the entire school year)

Ø             Family Memberships                    $100.00 (for the entire school year)

Ø             Pool memberships can be purchased at any community open swim night or at any swim lesson sign-up.

Ø             Community Swim Hours:  Monday – Thursday – 7:00pm to 9:30pm; 

     Saturdays – 1:00pm to 6:00pm; the pool is closed on Friday nights and Sundays

Community Swim Lesson Program:

Ø             Children enrolling in any swim program at North Allegheny must be at least 4 years of age by the sign-up date.  No exceptions will be made.

Ø             Cost (per student):            With a pool membership                     $35.00

Without a pool membership               $70.00

Ø             Summer Lesson Sign-up:  Sign-up for the summer swim session is scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2008 at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria.

Ø             Summer Session Dates:  The swim lessons are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 9^th through Thursday, June 19^th (Mondays – Thursdays).  There are (8) lessons offered for each session.  Start times are tentatively scheduled to begin in the morning.  Each lesson is 30 minutes long.

Ø             Swim Lesson Levels:  The lesson program is broken into (3) levels – Tiny Tigers lessons are designed for the very beginner swimmer who isn’t very comfortable in the water and does not enjoy putting his/her face in the water.  Beginner lessons are designed for those children who are comfortable in the water by themselves, will put their face under the water and are ready for more formal stroke instruction.  Intermediate lessons are held in the deeper water.  These students should be very comfortable in deep water and be ready to improve on their stroke technique.
