Minutes of August 21, 2006  Meeting

The minutes from the May 24^th meeting were approved by Tracey Mandarino and second by Cindy Roberts

New Business

Sandy acknowledges the great job the team reps have done; all teams are very well organized and up to date on uniforms and pictures.   Sandy also thanked Ann Moss for getting information on the cheer web site.

Courtenay the new Varsity coach this year introduced herself and talked a little about her qualifications, which can be found on the cheer web site.  She’s excited about working with the girls and taking them to the next level.

Tailgate

Jean Brown will be organizing the tailgating this year.  The date for the tailgate is Sept 22^nd at 5:30.  Look for more details coming from Jean concerning the tailgate this year.

Homecoming

Diane Thumma will be organizing the Homecoming for the NA Cheerleaders this year.  Look for more details coming from Diane concerning the homecoming.

Treasurer

Rose reported a successful mini camp this year, enrollment around 162.  The profit will help to fund the NA cheer banquet and to offset tumbling for the athletes.

Clothing

Tie dye shirts will be used again this year and they are new to the freshmen squad.  Freshmen will also be ordering the black zip hoodie and pants, all other squads have these.

 JV and Varsity will be ordering grey hoodies, which are new this year.  Also, JV and Varsity need to make sure they have a fleece or they need to see Cindy to order.  Bags are being ordered for Varsity at $15/bag plus $15/embroider.  If any one else is interested in ordering a bag see Cindy.

Team Reports

Freshmen – Joanne Vandergrift reported team pictures are done and in the program.  Tumbling is on Monday 6:30 – 7:30 at the Bairel Center.  If you need to contact Kathy Irving please contact her by her cell phone.  If you are going to miss tumbling you need to call Dana’s cell phone. 

JV – Tracey Mandarino reported that Cami gave out the schedule.  Tumbling for JV is 5:30 – 6:30 on Monday at the Bairel Center.  New uniforms are out and they will be taking a new picture in the new uniforms for the Basketball program.  Football program has the old uniforms in it.

Varsity – Sue Costello and Jane Marroni reported the new uniforms are all out and fit well.  Jane has the clothing that hasn’t been distributed yet.  Once the clothing is paid for see Jane to receive items.  There is a snack list for the away games. 

Fund Raising

Please bring any ideas that you may have for fund raising to the table. Sept 9^th is the new date for the varsity car wash at J. Clarks 10 – 2.  Athletes need to try and be there the entire time.  Keep in mind that fundraising can be used for clothing.
