Tech Ed – Grade 7

        The seventh grade technology class is a 6 week course that continues the study of communication, engineering and manufacturing systems.  Students utilize a variety of PC based software programs to further develop skills in the area of communication.  A variety of power tools are used to construct products and participate in problem solving activities.  Instruction in the safe and proper use of hand and power tools is an important component of the class.  These tools are utilized for cutting, forming, bending a variety of materials including wood, metal, and plastic.
