Tech Ed – Grade 6

             The sixth grade technology class is an activity-based, 9 week course introducing students to the time line of technology.  Exploration of communication, engineering and manufacturing systems provide the learner with opportunities to identify specific components of each system. 

            The Student produces engineering drawings using traditional and computer-aided methods.  These drawings are then utilized as the student learns to use hand tools and basic mechanical methods to transform raw materials into finished products.
