Photo Policy

With the advent of digital photography and the newly created web site we have an opportunity to share the band’s activities in a new way. With that opportunity comes the need to protect the students since the web site is able to be freely accessed by the public.

1.  Pictures will normally not include identification of the band members appearing in the photos.

2.  As much as possible, photos will be taken in large group images in order to make individual identities difficult.

3.  When there are photos that clearly show identities and are desirable for web site publication, the parents/guardians of the students involved must give permission prior to publication. First names only of the students involved may also appear with the photo if approved by the parents/guardians of the students.
