INFORMATION

1. In the spring of their sixth grade year, students rank their preferences for exploratory language study. North Allegheny schools will guarantee that the students will be enrolled in their number one choice for one of the two languages they will explore in seventh grade. They will be randomly placed in the second language.

2. In their seventh grade year, students will study the two languages in either the first or second semester. (They will study the Unified Arts in the other semester.) Each exploratory language course lasts nine weeks.
