Elementary Art
Students in our Seven Elementary Building attend Art class for one class period each week for the entire year. Classes also meet for and integrated day once every Three weeks. Classes are taught by certified art specialists.
Fourth Grade Classes travel to the Carnegie Museum to view and discuss the work of artists they have studied.
Our elementary buildings mount building
exhibitions that often present an integrated theme. An example is the
1999 Marshall Elementary theme of Fairy Tales and Myths. Here
are some examples of student work from this exhibit.
