Parents have provided valuable assistance in all areas of our school – with many school wide projects like book fair, field trips, and special events. We appreciate you and need you!

Assist with counting and bundling of box tops for submission by cut-off dates-
3 times per year: October, February and May- 6-8 volunteers

day (Friday, Feb 17: Help unpack books and merchandise for
sale, assist in setting up, creating, and organizing displays and checkout
Book Fair days (Monday Feb 20-Friday Feb 24): Assist book fair shoppers with making purchases, help replenish displays, run checkout stations, tally daily profits, pack up books and merchandise at the end of fair.
Many volunteers needed!

Spring Choral Concert – Thursday, June 1-day performance 9-10 AM
& night performance 7-8 PM, chaperone students during concerts; 2 volunteers for day concert, 3-4 volunteers for evening concert
* ORCHESTRA PERFORMANCES AT COURTHOUSE FIELD TRIP: (DANA LEASURE- email@example.com)
*Friday December 16-7th grade Orchestra Performance at the Allegheny County Courthouse:
4-6 Seventh grade parent volunteers needed and
*Monday December 19th - 8th grade Orchestra Performance at the Allegheny County Courthouse
4-6 Eighth grade parent volunteers needed and greatly appreciated!
*ORCHESTRA EVENING PERFORMANCE: Monday January 9th- Evening orchestra concert,
Volunteer call time: 6:30 PM. At LEAST 4 parent volunteers needed to take attendance and ensure that students are in the proper location before the concert. Each volunteer will be assigned to a specific task. Mrs. Leasure promises- you will NOT miss the beginning of the concert due to helping out beforehand!
*JAZZ BAND TOUR TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: (WES TAYLOR- firstname.lastname@example.org)
Spring 2017- 9:00 AM to 2 PM (3rd or 4th week of April)
Travel to MES and BWE -Chaperone students on bus, at lunch at a restaurant, and performances-

Throughout the school year, scoring and judging competitions, chaperone field trips

Teach coding projects and assist with coding projects

**STUDENT COUNCIL EVENTS: (GRETCHEN DESTEFANO- GDeStefano@northallegheny.org)
Assist with student council fundraising projects such as Pasta for Pennies and the magazine fundraiser; student activities such as the frozen yogurt bar in April, the staff appreciation lunch in May, and the 8th grade semi-formal in May; Tiger Shop, and the NHCO food drive. Many opportunities throughout the school year- sign up for one or as many as you like!
