Attention students: NA grad Rosanne Breaux visits NASH tomorrow to discuss campus life at CMU. She will visit the GOAL Office during lunches 5 and 7 tomorrow. Stop in GOAL during lunch tomorrow to discuss attending CMU.
Math Club will meet today after school in room 324 from 2:30 to 3:30.
There is a mock trial meeting immediately after school today in room 316.
Attention all students who made a gingerbread house for PPG display: Please stop in GOAL to see Mrs. Will about retrieving your house from PPG and let Mrs. Will know whether or not you will be picking up your house by Thursday.
The Environmental Club is sponsoring the first charity event of the New Year in the form of a clothing drive to help the Vietnam Veterans! Please help by donating new or gently used clothes and shoes that you no longer want or have room for in your closets.
To help families in need, simply drop off items in the main and parking lot entrances into the labeled bins any morning next week on your way into school. The Vietnam Vets appreciate every donation.
Attention students: We have an updated scholarship list available in the School Counseling Office. Please stop by to pick up a copy. There are a number of local scholarships available including: Blackwood Music Scholarship, Burger King Scholars Program, KFC Colonel's Scholars, AXA Community, Franklin Park Borough Community, Melvin D. Lubert Scholarship, Benjamin Criss Memorial Scholarship and the Carl Newman/North Allegheny Foundation Memorial Scholarship, to name only a few. Don't miss this opportunity to receive financial scholarships to help out with college or technical school expenses.

There will be a brief meeting Tuesday during homeroom for all FBLA members competing in the regional competition on Wednesday, January 7th. Please attend for information.
Important reminder to Seniors: All college transcript and counselor recommendation requests should be turned in to the School Counseling Office at least 10 working days before the deadlines. Make sure all counselor forms are included with your request.
A list of scholarships is available in the school counseling office, on the NASH School Counseling website, and on the School Counseling office bulletin board in the cafeteria. We receive new scholarship information on a regular basis, so keep checking the lists for updates. Deadlines come and go quickly, so don’t miss these opportunities to receive financial help for your future college expenses.
Attention students: Take a look at the School Counseling bulletin board in the cafeteria. You will find information on jobs available, volunteer opportunities, college visits and scholarships. Stop by the School Counseling office if you have any questions.
Reminder to students: Tuesday, January 6th, is the registration deadline for the February 7th ACT. Register online at www.act.org or stop by the counseling office if you have questions.
Attention varsity football players: Winter workouts for the 2009 season will begin today at the Baierl Center. Workouts will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00-5:00. See Coach Walker for further details.
